The winery's concentration on this wine is the pure appley fruit of Chardonnay showing layers of complexity without resorting to more oak and malo-lactic fermentation . The latter is simply used as an acid balancing tool – not a stylistic component, and the Iron Horse people feel very strongly about keeping the oak beautifully integrated in the wine. Perfectly charming and bound to garner high ratings as with former vintages.
