The color is pale gold, and the bouquet is very flowery, clean and soft. The body is light to medium, firm and smooth. On the palate, this Scotch is flowery and peachy, showing notes of vanilla. There is a delicate balance between sweetness and malty dryness, leading to a restrained, long and gently warming finish.
15-Year Old French Oak Reserve
This whisky is uniquely finished in French Limousin Oak, from the Dordogne region of France, renowned for bringing complex flavors to fine wines and cognacs. The specially selected malt whisky receives a final polish in new Limousin casks, characterized by a wider grain than the American Oak casks in which scotch is typically aged. The color is golden amber and the bouquet is rich with floral scents and a fragrant spice. The flavor replicates the bouquet emitting rich floral and soft fruity notes. There is a scented sweetness that develops into the dry, nutty and spicy oak character, with a long finish of warming, mellow spice.
