Mathilda Framboise Liqueur
Raspberries need heat and a dry soil, but not too much sun. The region of the Landes, along the Atlantic Ocean, southwest of Bordeaux, running almost to the border with Spain, is a flat terrain, covered with pine trees. It offers a unique geological condition since the soil is very sandy. For over 100 years, the extremely flavorful raspberries, grown under the Landes pine trees, have been recognized as the best for producing liqueurs. The type of raspberry used here is the Magnific Delbard, which produces a lot of sweet juice with an enchanting flavor.
